Mrs. Sharon Dacera, mother of flight attendant Christine Dacera who was found dead after she attended a New Year's Eve party in Makati City, has revealed that she was able to talk to the spirit of her daughter who revealed to her that she was betrayed by one of her friends.

Mrs. Dacera made the revelation during a one-on-one interview with Luchie Cruz-Valdez for the segment "Derechahan" aired on "Frontline Pilipinas" on TV5 Thursday night.

"Nagpa-psychic kami. Sabi ng spirit ni Tin she was betrayed by a friend," the mom said.

Asked why she consulted a psychic, Mrs. Dacera said:  "We are looking sa lahat ng paraan. Ginagawa ng isang nanay (para malaman) kung ano ba talaga ang nangyari sa anak niya. So paulit-ulit sinabi ni Tin na she was betrayed by a friend."

"I believe na may nilagay sa kanya na something na bumigat ang ulo niya," she added.

Mrs. Dacera believes that one of Tin's friends really betrayed her daughter.

"Ang akin sana po sana ay makunsensya naman sila. Sabi nila mahal nila si Tin pero bakit nagkaroon (siya) ng mga pasa at bruises? Sila lang naman ang magkakasama eh," she said.

Mrs. Dacera also believes there was a cover-up in the death of her daughter.

"I would use siguro the lapses of Major Sarmiento and the medico legal na bakit po nailangan ipa-embalsamo (ang anak ko) na walang pahintulot," she said.

Mrs. Dacera said for now, she cannot accept the decision to rule out murder in the case of her daughter. "So far, as of now, we are still waiting for the NBI result."

She also slammed the critics of her daughter. "Sana hindi nila maranasan yung nangyari sa anak ko kasi masakit."

On lessons learned as a parent, Mrs Dacera said: "Always love your children. We always do our best for our children. So sa pagkawala ni Christine, I feel the injustice to what had happened to her. Kahit saan pang paraan, ipaglalaban ko ang anak ko. Anak ko si Christine. Mahan na mahal ko si Christine. I am proud of my daughter. Nabiktima lang ang anak ko."

Christine was buried in her hometown in General Santos City on Jan. 10.
