VIRAL: Woman sets hair with Gorilla glue, asks for help on how to take it off

Over the weekend, 40-year-old Tessica Brown from Louisiana, USA, posted videos over on her TikTok account.

She has been sporting the same hairstyle for a month now, and it's all because she ran out of her staple setting spray. Instead, she used Gorilla Glue.

She posted this video as a public service announcement, and she followed it up with a video of her shampooing her hair to no avail.

The posts was followed with more attempts to take off the strong glue, including a trip to the emergency room. She even tried applying coconut and tea tree oils and wrapped her head in plastic, but it was an "epic fail."

The hospital also gave her products to use at home, in the attempt to take out the glue residue.

Tessica has expressed how Gorilla Glue didn't indicate that one cannot use their product as hair spray. The company has issued a statement on their Facebook page.

"We are very sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident that Miss Brown experienced using our Spray Adhesive on her hair. We are glad to see in her recent video that Miss Brown has received medical treatment from her local medical facility and wish her the best."
