A day in the life of Markki Stroem

Radio and TV personality Markki Stroem surely knows how to keep things balanced and give himself a treat. Having a busy schedule is no hindrance to this hunk.

“I wake up at 5 a.m. go to work at the radio station, RX93.1, until 10 am,” Markki shared. “I go to the gym for two hours. Evenings are reserved for events and live streams.”

In between work and gym time, the singer-disc jockey finds time to rest or run his errands.

This celebrity on-the-go is consistent in keeping his body active. “I work out five times a week, and on Sundays, I do cross training (gymnastics or swimming).”

“I'm a huge fan of cardio because I used to compete in triathlon. I just get thin really fast so I have to avoid too much cardio because of muscle waste. I am currently cutting now, after a month long bulking process.”

To complement his rigorous workout routine, Markki also keeps an eye on his food intake.

“I also do daily intermittent fasting from 10 p.m. to 2 p.m. of the next day. Saturday is my only day off,” he added.

“I cheat on weekends normally, but it’s mostly cheating with food. I still try to keep active. I like to play Pokémon Go, so that helps me remain active through a lot of walking,” Markki beamingly shared how he lives a little given his intense workout and diet plan.

Almost a year into the COVID-19 pandemic, there’s no better time than this to put a premium on one’s health and well-being.

Markki seems to subscribe to this idea as he puts extra effort in making wellness a priority.

“Thank you so much HeHeals Wellness!,” Markki expressed his gratitude to the newly opened wellness center in Molino, Bacoor, Cavite which aids him in his healing and wellness journey.

“HeHeals wellness center has helped me in a lot of ways! I used to get tired so fast when I work out. Now, because of certain therapies such as ozone therapy, my energy has increased tenfold. My muscles also heal so much faster because of the red laser therapy. I feel younger, healthier and more energetic!,” he continued.

Along with other celebrities Ronnie Liang, BidaMan Dan Delgado, and Janica Reloxe, Markki is the face of HeHeals.

HeHeals is an integrative medical and wellness facility which utilizes intergrative and traditional medicine for the treatment of patients through spiritual, emotional, mental, and environmental, in addition to the physical means.

The general principle is that all aspects of the client are considered in treating illness, which include natural and less invasive alternatives when possible. To ensure safety and credibility, HeHeals implements consultations and prescribes treatment protocols involving a medical doctor.
