The PLDT Home Fibr Hitters are bolstering their lineup for the anticipated Premier Volleyball League competition by signing a couple of talented players that include University of the Philippines standout Isa Molde.

The 22-year-old outside hitter will be foregoing her final year with the Lady Maroons to suit up in the pro league, where she will join fellow recruits Marist Layug, Eli Soyud, Chin Basas, Mariella Gabarda and Iza Viray.

Also a former Lady Maroon, Layug played in the Philippine Superliga for the Sta Lucia Lady Realtors as a middle blocker.

Soyud, Basas and Gabarda all played for the Generika-Ayala Lifesavers in the Superliga, while Viray is a San Beda product.

Soyud previously played in the PVL, where she suited up for Motolite in 2019.

Viray is also not new in the league, having played for Chef’s Classics in 2019.

Like Molde, Gabarda, meanwhile, will also be foregoing her final year in the UAAP with University of the East.

Coached by multi-titled mentor Roger Gorayeb, the Fibr Hitters hope to make an impact in returning to the PVL scene after winning two conference titles in 2015.
