The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is seeking the help of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in the deportation of two African nationals who have “lived” at Terminal 2 transit lounge for the past two years.

One of them was identified as Johnson Emmanuel Josiah, 42, of Liberia, Africa. He arrived in the country on April 21, 2019 via Philippine Airline flight PR-383 from Guangzhuo, China.

The other transit lounge “tenant,” Alain Njogho Acha, 32, a Cameroonian, arrived in NAIA Terminal 2 last April 4, 2019 from Bangkok, Thailand.

Reports said Josiah had a scheduled flight via Kenya Air last October 4, 2019 but he refused to board the plane. He was also described as unruly.

The two stranded foreigners have since stayed at Terminal 2 transit lounge where they have been able to eat for free.

But now, NAIA management is working with DFA to have the duo deported.
