Belonging in the same region, Bren Esports and Execration have joined the #SaveMyanmar movement after the military has taken over the country in a coup just two days ago.

On Monday, February 1, the Burmese military detained civilian leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi along with democratically elected officials for alleged voting fraud last year.

Communication and Internet blackouts immediately happened in Myanmar's largest city Yangon as soldiers patrolled the streets and a curfew was implemented.

As a show of support, Bren, which recently won the M2 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championship against Burmese Ghouls of Myanmar, posted on Facebook a photo of the Burmese flag.

"Let's set aside our differences and pray for Myanmar. #SaveMyanmar," the organization said.

Bren coach Francis "Duckeyyy" Glindro shared a Facebook post by Burmese ML player Ardam asking for help to stop the coup.

"Justice shall prevail! #SAVEMYANMAR," said Duckeyyy.

Execration did the same, posting a photo on its page with the caption: "Brothers and sisters, join us! Pray for Myanmar! #SaveMyanmar."

The team's veteran ML player Billy "Z4pnu" Alfonso also offered the same sentiment by simply posting "#SaveMyanmar" on his page that has 2.5 million followers.

Onic PH also threw support for its fellow Southeast Asians, saying: "Let's pray for our brothers and sisters in Myanmar."
