Made with rejuvenating conditioned media, Calecim comes in three different products—the serum, for post-procedure healing and recovery and enhanced aesthetic results, then the multi-action cream (MAC), for corrective treatment of significant signs of aging, and lastly, the restorative hydration cream (RHC), for optimal hydration resulting in improved skin fullness and texture.
According to Dr. Mitchel P. Goldman, a clinical professor of dermatology in University of California, San Diego, and the one who pioneered the studies that made it possible to introduce the patented and powerful mix of proteins called the rejuvenating conditioned media in Calecim, the products work to heal, correct, and hydrate, helping the users to achieve a younger looking skin with less downtime.
“Rejuvenating conditioned media contains collagen, albumin, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid, cytokines, and growth factors that direct our skin cells to behave in a youthful manner,” he says. “It increases glycoprotein production, encourages cell mobility and restores epidermal cell turnover resulting in lesser post procedure downtime, fuller, tighter, and radiant looking skin.”
But unlike the other over-the counter beauty products, Calecim products are exclusively dispense and available to dermatological clinics and it is designed to use by people 18-years and above.
“Serum is to be used immediately following facial rejuvenation procedures and for continued use at home for at least two days after, depending on how ablative the procedure was. It reduces redness, swelling and discomfort, significantly reducing downtime of treatments and improves aesthetic results of treatments,” says Dr. Marilen Jaminto, medical manager at A. Menarini Philippines Inc. “MAC or RHC is to be used on a daily basis (twice a day—in the morning and evening) for at least two to four weeks to see visible results. With MAC, skin is fuller with improved elasticity while RHC improves texture of skin with refinement of fine lines.”
