A man who was having a drinking spree with his friends at Barangay 173 in Caloocan City was gunned down by two unidentified men onboard a motorcycle on Saturday evening.
Police identified the victim as Luisito Villarruz, 45, driver, resident of the said area.
Investigation showed that Villarruz was drinking with friends on the sidewalk at around 9:30 p.m. when two unidentified men onboard a black Yamaha NMAX motorcycle drove by.
Then, the backrider alighted from the vehicle and shot the victim multiple times on several parts of his body, killing him instantly.
The assailants sped away toward an unknown location. The police have yet to determine a motive for the killing. Investigation is ongoing.#
