A former councilor of Taguig was shot and killed by unidentified suspects in the city in the morning on Jan. 28.
Taguig City Police chief Col. Celso Rodriguez identified the victim as Richard Paul Jordan, a former councilor of Taguig’s second district.
According to the Taguig City Police, the shooting incident happened at about 10 a.m. on Dinggin Bayan Street in Bgy. Ibayo-Tipas, Taguig. A witness went to the Tipas Police Substation to report the shooting incident. Initial investigation by the police stated that two unidentified suspects shot Jordan several times and fled. He was brought to the Taguig Pateros District Hospital. The police recovered eight spent shells and three slugs of caliber .45. pistol.
The Taguig City Police will create a special investigation team to monitor, investigate and resolve the case.
