Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso led the opening of a "healing garden" for frontline health workers of the city at the Baluarte de San Diego in Intramuros, Manila on Tuesday.
The garden is an exclusive space that can be booked only by frontline health workers in the capital city. Only 30 people at a time will be allowed inside.
"As our way of showing gratitude and support to our health workers, the healing garden will serve as a place of solace and sanctuary to uplift the well being of our modern-day heroes," the Intramuros Administration said in a Facebook post.
Those who wish to book a visit to the healing garden can do so through the StaySafePH application. Four time slots are available: 6 a.m., 9 a.m., 12 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Frontliners are required to bring their company ID and must wear face shields and face masks in the garden.
The project is a collaboration between the Manila city government, Intramuros Administration, and Resus Property Consultancy & Sales Associate, Inc.
