DICT installs free WiFi hubs in 6 SUCs in Laguna

The Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) installed Free WiFi for All access points in six state universities and colleges (SUCs) in Laguna.
 
Free WiFi hubs were installed in Pamantasan ng Cabuyao, Laguna University, Laguna State Polytechnic College - San Pablo Campus, Laguna State Polytechnic College - San Pablo City Campus, City College of Calamba, and Balian Community College.
 
"In response to the advocacy of the government to expedite the implementation of its free internet services, DICT Luzon Cluster 2 with the support of local government units, has installed and activated Free WiFi for All sites in SUCs, public hospitals, and COVID-19 isolation facilities within the region," DICT said.
 
"Teachers and students can now avail the Free WiFi for All in the campuses for their online classes, researchers, skills development, and self-paced online learning," it added.
 
Earlier, the DICT also installed free WiFi access points in four campuses of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Laguna.
