Trece Martires LGU suspends operations after staff contracts COVID-19


TRECE MARTIRES, Cavite - The city government suspended its operations and transactions on Monday (January 25) after several employees contracted coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

"A number of staff of the City Mayor and Treasurer’s Office had been infected with COVID-19 and is now undergoing preventive restriction and placed under quarantine to prevent the spread of the virus," Mayor Gemma Lubigan said Sunday (January 24). 

Close contacts of infected employees have undergone swab tests and are now under close monitoring. 

The City Hall will resume operations on Tuesday (January 26), except for the City Mayor’s Office and the City Treasurer’s Office, which will be back to regular operations on Wednesday (January 27).
