New delivery service on the block

The Siy Cha Group of Companies from Sultan Kudarat, which have been in the motorcycle retail business for over 30 years, now wants a piece of the P37 billion delivery market for online merchants and their customers.

The group will launch Amigo, an on-demand delivery service platform next month, to serve Metro Manila, initially.

"Amigo is more than just a business for us -- we want it to be a reliable partner who goes the extra mile for Filipinos,” says Matthew Siy Cha, Founder and President of Amigo.

Amigo prioritizes customer convenience, from a booking process that takes as little steps as possible to flexible booking times and an option for both cash and cashless transactions, where customers can opt for COD, credit/debit card, and even their PayMaya account.

When it comes to package security, Amigo has real-time tracking of riders and a security code feature to ensure packages arrive at the right locations and to the right people.

The Amigo Chat feature provides customers real-time communication with riders or a customer support agent, where they can send their location or images all within the Amigo app.

Amigo Merchants share the same services as customers, with special promos and pricing, weekly analytics reports, and a dedicated account manager who facilitates their needs.

Amigo riders receive their earnings in real-time after every delivery via the Amigo Wallet feature.
With the integration of PayMaya, they can do online top-ups and withdraw cash straight from their Amigo Wallet.

Riders have direct access to AmiGoals, an incentive program to help them gain extra earnings.

They also have access to Amigo Chat for real-time communication with customers or rider support without having to leave the app.

Amigo rider applicants' registration, training, and verification are all done online to ensure safety and convenience .
