Galvez given ‘snappy salute’ at end of Senate’s hearing on vaccines
The three-day Senate Committee of the Whole public hearing on the government’s vaccination program ended this afternoon with vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. given a snappy salute.

‘’He is an extraordinarily decent person. He is an epitome of a true officer and a gentleman,’’ Senator Panfilo M. Lacson said.
‘’I am proud and honored to have graduated from the same institution (Philippine Military Academy) where he graduated. I would like to tell him my snappy salute,’’ he added.
Lacson, chairman of the Senate national defense committee, earlier revealed that he received last Tuesday a message from Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong ‘’relaying Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr.’s request for a meeting to apologize personally for the things he mentioned about me in his presentation during the T3 Zoom meeting last week – which I mentioned in my manifestation during the Senate Committee of the Whole hearing last January 15.’’
