Ogie Diaz reveals gripe against Alfred Vargas

It has been long settled and ABS-CBN has since moved on to air most of their shows on another channel but Ogie Diaz still has "tampo" against Congressman Alfred Vargas relating to the network's shutdown.

The popular talent manager and sometime actor shared this via his most recent vlog.

Asked by his guest , Aiko Melendez, if he has ill-feelings against Vargas, he answered, "Meron."

He went on to explain that it stemmed from Vargas abstaining from voting on the issue concerning the renewal of ABS-CBN's franchise.

Ogie added, "Yun galit ko hindi personal. Yung galit ko siguro tampo lang. Tampo na hindi sya nanindigan sa botohan."

He went on to mention how several actor-turned-politicians made a stand on the issue.

"Okay lang yung iba eh, sila Dan Fernandez, yes to shutdown, si Yul Servo yes to shutdown, (pero) siya nag abstain. So yun lang ang tampo ko, na sana eh di ka nag-abstain. It’s either yes or no,” he said.

Alfred is yet to issue a statement on the matter.

Note that prior, several individuals called for a boycott of "Tagpuan," the actor-politician's entry to the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival due to the same.
