DOLE’s employment info system offers thousands of job vacancies

Check the Top 20 job vacancies in the country from the PESO Employment Information System that was revealed by the Department of Labor and Employment's-Bureau of Local Employment (DoLE-BLE).

According to BLE, the Top 20 vacancies posted on PEIS from January 8 to 14, 2021 are the following:

Clerical aide (1,800), office clerk (767), domestic helper (710), call center agent (602), and production machine operator (350),service crew (217), production worker (143), laborer (102), technical support staff (100), and waiter (60).

There are also jobs for production helper (52), waitress (50), dispatch rider (50), sales clerk (49), and warehouse man (47), sales associate professional (45), merchandiser (42), domestic cleaner (40), mason (35), and cashier (32).

Interested applicants, BLE said, may contact the nearest Public Employment Service Office (PESO) to them.

Jobseekers may also visit DOLE's Trabaho Negosyo Kabuhayan (TNK) website for more job opportunities.

The TNK webpage is an on-line platform initially  designed to provide employment opportunities and entrepreneurial options  to all types of jobseekers including returning overseas Filipino workers, K-12 graduates, persons with disabilities, and senior citizens.

Based on the DOLE job displacement monitoring report, 400,000 workers were permanently displaced last year amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Labor department said 4.5 million workers were also affected by flexible work arrangement and temporary closure.
