BAGUIO CITY – Ten most wanted persons were arrested in a 24-hour operation conducted by the Baguio City Police office (BCPO).
BCPO Director Allen Rae Co said the 10 wanted persons were separately apprehended in different police operations conducted by the BCPO.
Of the 10, four were included in the list of 10 Most Wanted Persons (TMWP). They were identified as Reno Mendoza, No.2 TMWP in the municipal level, and Nixon Chaligto, No.10 TMWP in the provincial level. Both were are accused of child abuse under Republic Act 7610.
BCPO Station 5 arrested Alvin Kenneth Benitez, who was listed as No.10 TMWP in the city level, for robbery, while Kim Rusty Libungan, No.7 TMWP in the station level, was collared for robbery with violence against or intimidation of persons.
Co said the six other fugitives were arrested by virtue of warrants of arrest issued by the court.
