As a warm up before officially announcing the new Galaxy S phones, Samsung puts a smartphone in the limelight.

The Galaxy A32 is aimed to be a more affordable 5G device than the S lineup. It contains an octa-core processor, two RAM options between 4GB and 8GB, 128GB storage expandable with a microSD card, and 5000mAh.

It might be my old age, but there was an era when the specs sheet above might be considered as an over-the-top and excessive flagship phone. Regardless, that’s an impressive specs sheet.

Though, the 6.5-inch display is only 720p. But at least there’s four cameras behind it, 48MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP and a 13MP front camera. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side, which is something, am personally a fan of.

The A32 being 5G ready is nice. Though 5G within the country is still limited to certain places around Manila.

There’s no confirmation on the price since Samsung hasn’t released it yet, but we’re guessing it’s something between the 20K and 30K range.

Samsung will also be announcing the new Galaxy S phones real soon at CES 2021. We’re expecting at least three, starting with the standard S, the Plus, and Ultra versions. Stay tuned!
