Joint operative of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) nabbed a supplier of party drugs and seized assorted party drugs during a buy-bust operation in Quezon City on Wednesday.
In a statement on Thursday, PDEA spokesperson Derrick Arnold Carreon identified the suspect as Jhun Cabaya alias “SkyHigh’’.
Cabaya was arrested during a buy-bust operation at around 5:20 p.m. in Barangay South Triangle where 23 ecstasy tablets worth P39,100, 300 liters of liquid ecstasy amounting to P90,000, 25 flyhigh capsules valued at P42,500, buy-bust money and cellular phone used for his transactions were confiscated.
Anti-narcotics authorities mentioned that party drug users particularly mix a drop of liquid ecstasy in their drinks.
The operation was carried out by the PDEA Special Enforcement Service (SES) led by Alpha team leader Jeffrey Baguidudol in coordination with the QCPD.
Cabaya is now facing charges for violation of Section 5 and Section 11 of Article II of Republic Act 165.
