For its February 2021 issue, American Vogue magazine presents a special dual cover edition with Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris. Photographed by Tyler Mitchell, Kamala is seen wearing a powder blue Michael Kors suits on one cover, and a Donald Deal jacket matched with Converse sneakers (a trademark fashion choice by Harris) on the other.
Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour was vocal about her support for the Biden-Harris ticket, even holding a special grassroots discussion with Jill Biden last Sept. 9, 2020. In a letter to the supporters of the Biden Victory Fund, the fashion icon was quoted saying she was "thrilled when he chose Kamala Harris as his running mate." And now, Harris covers the American edition of Vogue for the first time.
