“Kung physically and mentally fit pa (If I am still physically and mentally fit),” Binay said during an interview on CNN Philippines.
However, he said he will no longer seek a government position.
“If physically and mentally fit, we will be involved either as either a broker or what have you o magsasalita (or be a speaker),” Binay said.
“’Yun lang ang requirement ng physically and mentally fit (That’s the only requirement of being physically and mentally fit),” he added.
Binay explained that “political activity naman involves several aspects (political activity involves several aspects).”
“Puwede ka naman maging proactive. Puwede ka naman magtaas ng kamay, umiikot ka or whatever (You can be proactive. You can raise hands of candidates, go around or whatever),” he said.
After serving as Makati City mayor, Binay won as vice president in 2010.
He pursued the presidency but lost during the 2016 elections to President Duterte.
