Claire de la Fuente has aired her request for President Rodrigo Duterte to help grant her son, Gregorio Angelo de Guzman, among other suspects in the Christine Dacera case, a "fair investigation."
“As a mother, umaapela rin ako sa ating Pangulong Duterte. Alam kong walang kasalanan ang anak ko. Humihingi ako ng tulong sa Presidente na sana magkaroon ng fair investigation para maprotektahan din ang mga karapatan ng mga inosente. We also want the truth to come out as soon as possible,” she told ABS-CBN News.
Claire's appeal came after the victim’s mother, Sharon Dacera, also sought the help of Duterte to give justice to the death of her daughter.

Meanwhile, the singer of the jukebox hit "Sayang" maintained her son is innocent.
She related: "He was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.”
Prior, Claire refuted the rape allegation, noting the sexual orientation of Gregorio.
