Rapper Dr. Dre is hospitalized due to brain aneurysm

Grammy award-winning rapper Dr. Dre is taken to the intensive care unit (ICU) after suffering a brain aneurysm. 

According to an article by the TMZ, the superstar experienced the aneurysm on Monday, Jan. 4. Dr. Dre is still in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California and is now recovering. 

The beloved artist took it on Instagram to give thanks to his family and supporters for wishing him well and the medical professionals that helped him recover.

The 55-year-old musician is known for his collaborations with fellow artists Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Gwen Stefani, Mary J Blige, and 50 Cent.
