Jennylyn Mercado shared her sentiment over the convoluted case involving deceased flight attendant Christine Dacera.
According to the actress, it is wrong to blame the victim for whatever it was that happened to them.
"Everytime you blame the victim, you take the side of the rapist," she wrote on Twitter.
If you think Jennylyn believes Christine was raped prior to being murdered, you are wrong.
When a netizen questioned her about it, Jennylyn firmly refuted the accusation, relating that she, just like many others, only wants "justice and the truth."
The 33-year-old star added, "Rape exists because of rapists."
