Actress-singer AiAi Delas Alas trended in social media after netizens commented about her performance of the popular BLACKPINK song "Lovesick Girls" last Friday, Dec. 25.
AiAi Dela Alas took the stage at "The Clash Christmas Special Concert" to perform her rendition of the hit Korean track.
Blinks viewed her performance as an insult to Korean language, culture and the song itself, saying:
"Stop using kpop para magpasikat.. Okay lang kung inaral mo kahit konti yung kanta.. Kapag OPM kaya salaulain at bastusin matutuwa kaba ?"

"If this (is) what you call "parody" and "entertainment then that's embarrassing."
"Sana nag dance cover na lang and lypsinc. This is straight up disrespect on Korean language."
Mixed opinions were raised at her Instagram account, with some enjoying the performance saying:
"GO FIFTH MEMBER! GUSTO MO YAN EH HAHAHAHHAHAHA. AKO PO HININGAL SAYO GOODVIBES! GRABE NGA NAMAN YON."
"Merry Christmas po? Don't worry po naenjoy po namin yung performance niyo po..??"
"Miss Ai!!!! Sobra mo ko napasaya! I know the song is very difficult pero go lang! Wala ako masabi you made my day again!!! ?? Merry Christmas po!"
AiAi, 56, has been playing the role of "fifth member of BLACKPINK" for over a year now, with numerous performances of the Girl Group's songs such as Ice Cream, XOXO and the recent "Lovesick Girls" performance among others.
