Grooms now have more reasons to suit up

After what we’ve been through this year, we’re still positive that the coming days will be better. Take it from those engaged men who are looking forward to bringing their beloved fiance to the altar despite quarantine restrictions on gatherings.

Now, with budget extracted from things that need not to spend too much anymore, grooms have reason to invest in a luxury bespoke suit to complement their bride’s gown. And since most family and friends will just witness the wedding on social media, looking at their best would definitely be a source of pride.

One of the formal wear brands that wants to make those determined soon-to-be grooms exceptionally dapper is Suit It Up Manila. Their new campaign “Suiting Forward” features brand ambassador Nico Bolzico, highlighting shared optimism for better days ahead for all. For this offering, the brand partners with Holland & Sherry, makers of the finest suiting fabrics worldwide, for their three key outfits.

One of the outfits from their collection, the black diamond three-piece lapel, is so unique that it enables the groom to personalize the gold pinstripes through embossed words of his choice such as couples’ names, wedding date, or any words that symbolizes the union. It takes uniqueness and individuality to a new level.

The next outfit, the dark teal wide shawl lapel tuxedo, is made from the Velvet collection of Holland & Sherry. Perfect for an intimate banquet, its elegance and sophistication can put guests in awe.

The third outfit is a bit more casual yet very modish. This silver gray tartan check notch lapel jacket match with gray trouser is ideal for dream wedding destination. It is made of wool silk & linen from the Holland & Sherry Crystal Springs 2020 collection.

Another brand that is dedicated to make grooms look debonair on their wedding day is Tailory Manila, with actor Luis Alandi as ambassador. This maid-to-measure shop also believes that men can still choose to walk in style during the new normal. Their classic and modern designs, made of Italian and English wool fabrics, can make a groom escort his bride with confidence.

For a more Filipno touch, the brand releases a one-button lapel suit made of piña silk fiber with a full canvas lining for a smooth and comfortable feel. The formal jacket gives the wearer not just elegance but also a sense of pride being a Filipino.

They also have a tuxedo with a white dinner jacket accentuated by a black shawl lapel. Traditionally worn with white turn-down collar shirt, black bow tie, and black pants, it can definitely match a pure white gown of the bride.

But, for the more adventurous groom, colored two-piece lapel suits are on their list too. They offer fun colors such as crimson red, steel blue, and seafoam green, perfect for summer destination weddings
