"Iba 'Yan" host Angel Locsin faced some netizens who are questioning her efforts to bring relief-goods to the flood-stricken areas of Agusan del Sur and Surigao del Sur on Twitter last Sunday, Dec. 20.

It all started with Angel's tweet: "Mga Kababayan sa Agusan del Sur at Surigao del Sur, sana'y nasa ligtas na kalagayan po kayo."

One netizen seemed to be annoyed by Angel's express of concern on her comment that read:

"Normal na po yan na baha sa buong bansa. Di n(a)man po super typhoon dumating sa kanila..ok lng yan.. kayang kaya na yan ng mga local politicians."

Angel responded by re-tweeting the said tweet:

"I think we should listen to environmental experts on how we can prevent climate disasters from happening in the future, to avoid the unnecessary loss of lives and damage to properties :) We should learn from experience & not accept the reasoning na: "Normal na ang baha sa bansa" :)"

Another netizen joined the discussion but this time, the netizen agreed with the former "Darna" star by tweeting:

"Dahil sa pagglorify and romaticize nila masyado ng Filipino resiliency, nasanay na 'yung mga tao sa ganitong situation and it sucks."

Angel acknowledged this and replied:

"I think Filipino resiliency is something na maipagmamalaki natin talaga :) dito tayo kumukuha ng lakas ng loob kaya hindi ko ito mamaliitin :) pero hindi tayo dapat umasa lang dito. Dapat sabayan ng longterm solution din."
