Accor, Primex sign new hotel management deal


Accor, a global operator of luxury hotel chain brands, is expanding its presence in the Philippines as it brings sets the opening of its second five-star Pullman hotel brand in the country by 2023 as it sees robust recovery of the country’s tourism.

In a statement, the Accor Group signed a hotel agreement with Primex Realty Corp., the wholly-owned subsidiary of PRIMEX Corporation, for its second Pullman Hotel brand in the Philippines to be located at Primex Tower in Greenhills.

Pullman Manila will occupy the top ten storeys of the 50-storey Primex Tower, which is slated for completion in 2023. It will be a 200-room 5-star hotel housed within one of the tallest mixed-use edifices in the metropolis and only one of a few with a commanding and refreshing view of the lush greens of two golf courses.

Primex Tower will incorporate retail and office spaces on the lower floors, while the premium hotel will be situated in the topmost ten floors. This 50-storey glass tower is located in near proximity with the upscale Filipino-Chinese residential enclave in gated Greenhills,  and is within walking distance of the famous Greenhills Shopping Complex.

Pullman Manila at Primex Tower will boast two restaurants, a lobby lounge and a rooftop bar with a dramatic view of the Metro Manila skyline. The hotel will also feature a fitness center and a swimming pool to encourage guests to stay on top of their game with extensive fitness offerings focused on inspiring the mind and energizing the body. Dynamic meeting and events facilities will include a ballroom, private meeting rooms and a well-equipped business center designed to foster collaboration and creativity under the Pullman brand’s MEET/PLAY concept.

Accor currently operates seven hotels in the Greater Manila area which welcomed over five million visitors in 2019. The hospitality group continues to rapidly expand in the Philippines, with the signing of Pullman Manila at Primex Tower joining a pipeline of 16 hotels scheduled to open across the country in the next five years.
