Bren Epro unleashed its championship form when it mattered most as it broke Smart Omega's heart anew, 2-1, to grab the first spot in the grand finals of The Nationals Season 2 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang conference on Saturday.

Season 1 Finale champion Bren cruised to a fiery start in the deciding Game 3 behind David "FlapTzy" Canon and Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel en route to punching a ticket to the best-of-five finals of the tournament that stakes the highest prize pool in the professional league's young history at P1.5 million.

The black and yellow squad also maintained its winning ways against the black and green team since their title showdown in MPL Season 6 wherein Bren emerged as king with a 4-2 triumph.

The Francis "Duckeyyy" Glindro-coached Bren will await the winner of the lower bracket finals pitting Season 1 runner-up Omega and the victor of the clash between lower seeds Laus Auto Group Playbook Esports Eagles and STI eOlympians.

Bren bucked a lethargic start in Game 1 as carry Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno, playing the heavily buffed Harley, secured his core items and roamed around the map to get easy kills.

KarlTzy and Mico "Coco" Sampang on his Wanwan eventually got the Lord kill in the 12th minute before Bren went on to wipe out Omega's base and complete the 14-8 comeback win in 14 minutes.

Omega dodged a massive upset and a sweep as it foiled another come-from-behind attempt from Bren late in Game 2.

Heath stepped up with his Chou, setting up crucial kills while Jankurt "KurTzy" Matira's Claude dished out the damage en route to a 21-8 victory in 25 minutes.

FlapTzy's Yu Zhong came through with four kills and Pheww's Pharsa racked up three to spark Bren's 11-0 start in the rubber match.

Omega showed some signs of life after getting a 3-for-1 trade in the ninth minute but FlapTzy continued to bully them as Bren went for a 21-6 rout in just 14 minutes. CJ "Ribo" Ribo's Silvanna also shone in Game 3 with a perfect record of three kills and seven assists.

The Eagles and the eOlympians are squaring off as of posting time for the right to face Omega in the lower bracket finals.
