"The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)" a novelty Christmas song written by Ross Bagdasarian (under the stage name of David Seville) is the first Christmas song ever to hit No. 1 in the US chart in 1958.

But it was only in 2019 when the second holiday song hit the top of the Billboard chart with Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas (Is You)."
