Fruitas Holdings launches own milk products

Leading food and beverage kiosk operator, Fruitas Holdings, Inc. (FHI) is introducing its own brand of fresh milk under the Babot’s Farm brand in addition to its line of milk products from Bukidnon Milk Company.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the firm said the first product of Babot’s Farm 100 percent Pure and Fresh Milk will be cow’s milk that is all-natural, has no preservatives, and sourced from grass-fed, free-range cows.

Babot’s Farm 100 percent Pure & Fresh Milk will subsequently have chocolate milk and carabao’s milk variants. Fruitas is also looking at yogurt as an additional product under the Babot’s Farm brand.

“We believe that we can offer healthier alternatives of milk to Filipinos, so we decided to introduce our own brand of milk into our retail network,” said Fruitas President and Chief Executive Lester Yu.

He added that, “This also fits well within our family of products, tied together by minimal processing prior to consumption. This initiative will move us closer to achieving our vision of having every Filipino household consume a Fruitas product everyday.”

Babot’s Farm 100 percent Pure & Fresh Milk will be available in the shelves of Babot’s Farm and Soy & Bean community stores, which currently number more than 20, in Metro Manila.

It will also be available thru Fruitas Holdings’ delivery service, CocoDelivery, and will also be launched in certain kiosks.

The Company has already re-opened close to 800 outlets in its kiosk network. It opened its first overseas franchised outlet in Dubai and is re-accelerating its domestic expansion, through both kiosks and community stores.
