A man, believed to be a victim of summary execution, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the body along the northbound lane of EDSA in Makati City on Friday dawn (December 11).
The man’s head was covered with cellophane plastic and an electric cord was tied around his neck.
Investigators said the still unidentified victim who was wearing denim pants was around 35 to 40 years old. The words “Enan” and “Omon” are tattooed on the upper right side of his chest.
A red shirt was found beside him.
Policemen said the victim sustained six gunshot wounds in the body and found several spent shells near the body.
The body was discovered by concerned citizens at around 1:20 a.m. near a pavement in Barangay Magallanes, Makati and reported it to authorities.
When the police responded to the area, they found a placard on top of the body that read: “Snatcher, magnanakaw, mandurukot ako huwag tularan.”
Investigators said that they found no identification card from the victim.
On December 4, two still unidentified men, both hogtied, were found dead with gunshot wounds in the head on pavements along the northbound lane of Osmeña Highway in Makati City.
