Now that the hit drama Start Up is over, you’re probably asking yourself, what next? That post-show blues aren’t going away anytime soon, so you might as well try something else.

Here’s the drama you’d enjoy just as much: True Beauty

Adapted from a webtoon of the same name, it follows the story of an awkward, acne-ridden high school teen named Lim Ju Gyeong (played by Moon Ga Young) who turns to makeup to conceal her insecurities.

Shortly after her transformation, she became one of the prettiest faces at their school. But her popularity, of course, comes with the question of how long she’ll be able to keep her secret.

Lim Ju Gyeong then befriends two prince charming-like boys, Lee Su Ho (played by Cha Eun Woo) and Han Seo Jun (played by Hwang In Yeob), both of whom have a complicated life.

Can they help Ju-gyeong find her true beauty? We’ll find out.

The drama premiered yesterday, December 9 on media giant TvN, and is available with English subtitles on Viki.
