With the viral story of a mom’s frustration about a resort mistreating her and her child with special needs and netizens sharing the post and their sentiments as well, it was about time that the Department of Tourism (DOT) released a statement on this matter.

At a press conference, Tourism secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat said, “The DOT already launched an investigation on the matter. And after due notice and hearing, we will give the proper administrative sanctions to the resort.”
