An alleged "serial rapist" was arrested by Quezon City police in Pasay City early Thursday morning after one of his victims sought the latter's assistance.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) identified him as 27-year-old Marianito Sta. Maria, who also goes by the name of Robertson Bautista and Jayson Mallari.
QCPD Director Brig. Gen. Danilo Macerin said in a Thursday press conference that the suspect has already victimized at least seven individuals.
One of the suspect's victims, in the same press conference, said Sta. Maria was using different names on Facebook to lure his victims.
Sta. Maria's arrest came after a female massage therapist lodged a complaint against him after he hired the latter through social media for her ventosa massage therapy service. The incident happened on November 30 inside an apartelle on Yale St. in Cubao.
Sta. Maria allegedly did not pay her victim through making various excuses. He also sexually abused her after robbing her at knifepoint.
"Upon meeting up at the said place, the victim asked first for the payment of her service but Sta. Maria averred that his money was inside his car that was being used by his cousin," the police report said.
"After two hours of massage session, the victim again demanded for the payment, but Sta. Maria told her that his cousin met an accident," the report added. "While massaging the suspect, the victim again asked for the P2,000. Instead of handing the money, the suspect pulled out a knife and threatened the victim with harm."
Following the complaint, personnel from the Cubao Police Station conducted an operation against Sta. Maria that led to his arrest in front of a bus terminal in Pasay City around 3:40 a.m.
Police said, Sta. Maria's other victims also appeared before Cubao Police Station after his arrest. They then identified him as the same person who supposedly raped them.
Police added that Sta. Maria will be charged with robbery with rape before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
