The DFA also received a report that one previously confirmed death in Europe has been corrected.

The clarificatory report brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases and recoveries among Filipinos abroad to 11,649 and 7,545, respectively.

To date, the Middle East and Africa remain the combined region with the most number of COVID-19 infections involving overseas Filipinos with 7,544; Asia and the Pacific, 1,934; Europe, 1,404, and the Americas, 767.

With the COVID-19 pandemic now nearing the 10th month, the DFA assured that it will continue to keep track of the status of overseas Filipinos and stands ready to assist and facilitate repatriations, whenever possible.
