SMART CLARK GIGA CITY--TNT guard Ray Parks Jr. remains doubtful to play in the crucial Game Three of the PBA Philippine Cup Finals against Barangay Ginebra on Friday.

With the Tropang Giga now in a 0-2 hole, coach Bong Ravena said the team's top scorer might miss another game due to the left calf strain injury he suffered in the best-of-seven title series opener last Sunday.

"He's still under observation as of now," said the 50-year-old mentor in a Viber message to the Bulletin

"He is doubtful (to play) pa but we really hope na makalaro siya tomorrow."

Parks was in complete uniform and even warmed up but didn't suit up in Game Two on Wednesday night as TNT suffered another heartbreaker to Ginebra, 92-90

The 27-year-old combo guard was already listed "highly doubtful" after the Tropang Giga's painful 100-94 overtime loss in Game One where he topscored for the team with 20 points on top of five steals, four rebounds and four assists in almost 44 minutes of play before fouling out late.

The second-generation cager is currently leading the statistical points race with 38.3 SPs built on averages of 22.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.3 steals.

Ravena earlier said Parks might have aggravated his pre-bubble season injury as the former two-time UAAP MVP averaged 37.88 minutes of action in the eliminations and even saw an increase in playing time during the playoffs.
