Netflix confirmed on Tuesday that a Korean adaptation of its original series "Money Heist, "also known as "La Casa de Papel" is in the works.
The remake will be helmed by Kim Hong-sun who directed "Son: The Guest," "Voice," and "Black."
The production is a collaboration between BH Entertainment and Contents Zium.
"Money Heist" is a crime series about a group of people who undertake a heist on the Royal Mint of Spain, led by a criminal mastermind called "The Professor."
In 2017, Netflix acquired global streaming rights and has aired four seasons of the show so far.
The fifth season is currently in production and is scheduled for a release in 2021.
