Many were downright excited seeing the viral photo of Barbie Imperial and Diego Loyzaga dining together somewhere.
They believe it to be actual evidence the two are going out on dates and could be making sweet music.
Note the two are rumored to be in a relationship with fans noticing them constantly exchanging sweet nothings on social media.
But are they really an item?
Alas, Barbie already belied the suggestion maintaining they are merely "good friends."
Of course, we've heard that before but Barbie is adamant.
She said: “Siguro po dati nagpaparamdam pero, magkaibigan lang talaga kami."
The Bicolana hottie also noted, "Before pa super close na talaga kami. Tapos ‘yung mga friends namin gusto nila, ‘Try n’yo kaya mag-date ni Diego.’ Tapos kami parang, ‘Huwag na, huwag na.’ Kasi noong 2018 ang dami kong pinagdaanan sa love life and si Diego din. So parang ako, hindi kami perfect for each other no’ng time na ‘yon."
Around that time, Barbie just broke up with Paul Salas.
She was romantically linked to JM de Guzman but that didn't prosper either.
Isn't it time she gave Diego a chance?
Barbie replied in the negative.
She explained, "Kasi kaibigan ko siya at alam ko ang pinagdaanan niya. Ayaw ko ‘yung ako 'yung babae na ibi-break ‘yung heart ni Diegs.
She added, "Kapag alam mo kasi ang pinagdaanan ng tao parang ayaw mo siyang ibalik sa sitwasyon na ‘yon ulit.”
