Recently, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 3,538 out of 4,704 takers passed the Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) that was held earlier this month.

Vergeire also congratulated the newly-licensed doctors. “Gusto po natin silang i-congratulate lahat (We would like to congratulate all of them), and this is quite a feat and we like to congratulate you coming from the Department of Health,” she said.

The Health official said that they recognized the importance of doctors and all healthcare workers in the country.
