IN PHOTOS: Versace PH celebrates its first anniversary with an alluring campaign featuring Filipino fashionistas

A world of diverse citizens connected by a common thread of courage, style, and independence, that is the vision of Donatella Versace with her idea of a "Versace universe." And through the Milanese luxury brand, the matriarch of the House of Versace presents a notion of building a modern sexy wardrobe, which increasingly varies through the years but stays true to the brand’s DNA.

To showcase fashion vigor for its first anniversary, Versace Philippines selects five Filipino influencers namely Sarah Lahbati-Gutierrez, Mond Gutierrez, Nadine Lustre, and Alex Diaz to lead the campaign. Each of these style savants celebrates the house's storied legacy through online editorials crafted in true Gianni Versace style—full of edge, sexiness, and iconography.

All wearing the brand's fall/winter 2020 collections, these personalities step into their chosen uniforms, owning their distinct sense of style.

Much like blond bombshell, TV and movie actress Sarah Lahbati-Gutierrez's uniform is a modern play on the little black dress. She dons a slim-fit leather mini, matched with black leather booties and mini cell phone sling bag.

Her other look features a sweeter version of herself, combining a blue and red rose-printed knit cardigan, feminine shorts, and a bold red tote embellished with the Barocco ‘V’ from the House’s Virtus handbag line. Photographer Andrea Beldua immortalizes the Filipino-Moroccan beauty inside the quiet elegance of the Baccarat Bar of Solaire Resort and Casino.

Also photographed by Andrea, Mond Gutierrez brings the heat to the poolside. The TV host and entrepreneur wears the brands fitted T-shirt with a gold Via Gesu nameplate—as found on the façade of the Versace Milan main showroom—and pairs it with a waistband trousers marked with the Virtus and Versace logos. Tying the look together is a pair of dark sunglasses with gold accents.

His next edit is a breezy black, white, and gold heritage-inspired Barocco shirt pulled together by the new two-toned (palladium and Tribute Gold) Medusa necklace. The shirt features a motif of gold-tone acanthus leaves and spotted leopards, bringing a fresh perspective to the iconic print.

Multimedia star Nadine Lustre embraces a femme fatale look. Shot by photographer Ed Enciona in Bahay Lakan, Nadine wears a biker-inspired skirt and a slashed top from the house's fall/winter 2020 runway collection. Strappy black sandals set the fierce look on fire.

Photographed by Andrea at Mayad Studios, Filipina model and actress Kylie Verzosa's shoot is a nod to the hit song Versace on the Floor. The former Miss International queen dons a slinky black dress held together by gold Medusa buttons. Completing the look are spindly stilettos with sexy ankle straps as well as her elegant black Virtus saddle bag.

Another scene shows Kylie donning a silk striped blouse with a Barocco print and light blue chest panel. Adding an extra touch of sexy are the gold earrings and leather black booties with a low, skinny heel.

The Scottish-Filipino looker Alex Diaz effortlessly showcases his versatility with Versace's Optical Virtus print. Photographed by Trish Shishikura at Rizal Park Hotel, Alex is wearing a piece influenced by optical art and the brand's archival theater costume designs, where the letter ‘V’ is surrounded by graphic Barocco elements.

His other look features a long-sleeved sporty top, chunky white Chain Reaction sneakers with gold lame at the bottom, and the ultra-luxe travel-size embossed Barocco leather duffel.

Versace Philippines' fall/winter pieces are now available at The Shoppes at Solaire Resort and Casino.
