Baby Yoda's macarons are now available and they are not cheap

It's undeniable that the breakout star of Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian, the first live-action series in the Star Wars franchise, is none other than The Child, or famously known as Baby Yoda. The character is loved so much that it has launched numerous memes online, and has been the inspiration for various merchandise.

Speaking of which, a new offering is here to delight fans of the franchise. But compared to their collector's items, this one is unlikely to last a long time.

Luxury goods brand Williams Sonoma is releasing a licensed confectionery inspired by what Baby Yoda is munching on in season 2's Chapter 12: The Siege, called the Nevarro Nummies.

"Inspired by a sweet moment when a young Nevarro student debated sharing his treats with the Child," the Williams Sonoma listing says. "21st-century artisans in California have created these ethereal French-style almond macarons capturing the essence of this scene with Nevarro Nummies. For authentic galactic flavor, each exquisite treat is artfully hand-piped with a rich, creamy vanilla filling."

The "space" macarons are priced around $50 for a dozen. So if you want to have a taste of the cosmic treat, you might have to spend more than P2,500, considering international shipping fee as well.

According to the website, the macarons will be shipped frozen with dry ice or chilled with gel packs. The product can last up to a month unopened or for up to three days opened, then stored in the refrigerator. We doubt it would take that long for you to finish those.

So are we going to harness the "Force" to snag these goodies or are we just going to force your pockets to do it for us? Star Wars fans, let us know what you think.
