4 Quirino rescue team members get COVID-19 after visiting typhoon-affected provinces


QUIRINO -- The Provincial government here announced on Thursday four  new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in four members of the Quirino Augmentation Team that  went to Cagayan and Isabela to help the victims of typhoon Ulysses.

The infected rescue team members were all taken straight to quarantine facilities.They were Q-C 11, 45, male, of barangay Gumaway, Cabarroguis, Quirino ; Q-C12 , 23, male, of barangay San Ramon, Aglipay , Quirino ; Q-C13, 28, male, of barangay San Leonardo, Aglipay, Quirino, and Q-C14, 29, male, of barangay Ifugao Village, Diffun Quirino. They were transferred on Thursday to the Quirino Province Covid Safe Center.

Provincial officials assured that they will continue to take action to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Residents of Cagayan and Isabela thanked the Quirino Augmentation Team for their help.
