DFA reports 6 new COVID cases among Pinoys abroad


The Department of Foreign Affairs reported six new confirmed cases and five new recoveries from COVID-19  among Filipinos in Asia and the Pacific and the Middle East and Africa. 

 No new fatality among overseas Filipinos was recorded in the DFA’s latest report.  

Since the outbreak began last February, 11,573 overseas Filipinos have been afflicted with COVID-19.

 The DFA said 3,247 are under treatment, 7,492 have recovered, and 834 died. 

To date, there are 82 countries and territories with confirmed COVID cases among Filipinos.
