In these challenging times, mobility is of prime importance. The pandemic, safety protocols, and varying restrictions in each area may make getting around complex at times. It’s worthwhile having a vehicle that can take on a variety of tasks quickly, efficiently, and affordably.

Thankfully, Suzuki Philippines (SPH) has two solutions that not only make it easier, but enjoyable as well. Whether it’s simply getting around or taking your family or team with you, Suzuki has the perfect vehicle.

Suzuki Dzire

Suzuki DZire GL+

Suzuki’s best-selling sedan, the Dzire is a compact, smart, and stylish solution to modern mobility. The Dzire builds upon the award-winning Swift hatchback, improving its utility with the addition of a trunk, to make a more desireable sedan body. It has been designed to meet a variety of drivers’ needs, thanks to its three variants.

For first-time buyers, it’s the perfect choice thanks to its unique Auto-Gear Shift (AGS) transmission that combines the benefits of an automatic transmission with a manual. The AGS is an automated manual, and as such only requires the same low maintenance of a manual transmission with the convenience of an automatic. It allows drivers to choose between manual and automatic modes, making it easy to switch depending on traffic.

Whether in manual or Auto-Gear Shift, the Suzuki Dzire is capable of achieving high fuel efficiency. In a fuel economy run conducted in 2019 with the assistance of Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP), the Dzire AGS achieved an average of 25.81 Km/Li. The Dzire manual on the other hand achieved an average of 26.54 Km/Li.

The Dzire is also available with a conventional manual, making it an ideal choice for those looking to go into business, whether as a TNVS operator or as fleet vehicles for larger businesses. Either way, the Dzire’s potent yet efficient 1.2-liter engine guarantees low fuel consumption, equating to more miles on the road per liter of fuel.

The Dzire has also been designed to be a standout on the road, instilling pride in whoever drives it. These are thanks to features like a multi reflector headlamp, fog lamps (GL+), rear combination lamps with LED, and 15-inch alloy wheels.

Best of all, the Dzire is priced very competitively with proven reliability, making it a worthwhile investment for families or business. It starts at just P549,900 for Dzire GA M/T, P638,000 for the GL M/T, and P698,000 for GL+ AGS, all far less and with more value than many of its competitors.

Suzuki Ertiga

Suzuki Ertiga GLX

For those that need to carry more and drive further, Suzuki offers the Ertiga 7-seater MPV. Suzuki’s best-selling model, the Ertiga was designed with Filipino families’ needs in mind. Thanks to its flexible interior, the Ertiga can easily carry either family members or cargo with ease.

It’s a vehicle anyone would be proud to own, thanks to its unique design and premium features hard to beat at its price point. The Ertiga comes with a taller and wider nose, a dynamic shoulder line, deeper curves, and an aerodynamic body and refined chrome accents.

Traffic or long drives are something to look forward to thanks to its 10-inch audio system (GLX) compatible with smart phones and mobile devices. It’s also easy to use, thanks to large and distinctive icons and its touch screen function.

Once inside, it’s easy to get comfortable in the interior, thanks to its flexible seating. Seats can even be folded to accommodate even more luggage. There are even hidden cargo storage areas for hiding valuable items.

No matter how many are onboard, they can all rest easy knowing they’re safe in the Ertiga with its reverse parking sensors, SRS Airbag system, Suzuki’s TECT protective body, pedestrian injury mitigation, and child seat anchors.

In tune with current auto trends, Suzuki also offers the Ertiga in a Black Edition, featuring a black interior and seats that provide both a premium look, and are also easier to keep clean.

Moving the Ertiga forward is a very capable yet efficient 1.5-liter engine, paired with a choice of 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. It’s capable of returning an average of up to 20.51km/Li based on a 2019 fuel economy run conducted with the assistance of Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP).

The Suzuki Ertiga gives buyers a wide variety of choice thanks to the many variants available. All Ertiga variants are less than P1M, making it a competitive and worthwhile proposition. Best of all, each trim level, from the entry-level to top-of-the-line, can be availed as the upgraded 2020 edition or Black Edition.

The Ertiga starts at P738,000 for GA M/T Black Edition and P743,000 for the GA M/T Upgraded Edition. Buyers can choose from the GA M/T, GL M/T or A/T in between. There’s also the fully loaded GLX AT at P993,000 for the Upgraded Edition, and a price ceiling of P988,000 for the GLX A/T Black Edition.

Freedom to choose

The current situation may have taken many of the freedoms we used to take for granted. Yet Suzuki wants to give it back with the freedom of choice, mobility, and substantial savings that come with owning a Suzuki vehicle. It’s time to bounce back and get moving, and with a Suzuki vehicle, that’s made even easier and worry-free.
