Turning 50 years old is a milestone worth celebrating, and Karen Davila celebrated her birthday last November 21 through Gretchen Ho’s initiative, Donate a Bike, Save a Job.
“Thousands of Filipinos lost their jobs and it’s been hard making ends meet,” read her video post. She continued in her next post that she shared 50 bikes for Gretchen Ho’s team who, in turn, decided on who was the most deserving to receive them. “What’s amazing about the process is the beneficiaries choose the bikes themselves,” Karen added.
Karen also shared that they signed the bikes, “Extra special din na nakausap namin sila personally.” She ended the post by thanking the Lord for this opportunity.
