Bet you haven’t heard Nicole Scherzinger of The Pussycat Dolls sing the cover of “Pangako” originally done by Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.

Nicole’s cover track is part of the album “Kaibigan” by Troy Laureta. In the album, Nicole performs the OPM ballad with Troy.

According to ABS CBN, “Kaibigan” is a realization of Troy’s dream to produce an EP with friends he met in his musical journey featuring Filipino songs that have made an impact in his life.

Other Filipino artists in the album include Ailee, Cheesa, Jake Zyrus, Matt Bloyd, Nicole Scherzinger, Pia Toscano, Regine Velasquez, and Sheléa.

Included in the nine-track OPM collective are Regine’s rendition of “Hanggang Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan;” “Bakit Pa,” Cheesa; “Bakit Pa Ba,” Matt; “Kahit Isang Saglit,” Ailee; “Patuloy Ang Pangarap,” Sheléa; “Kailangan Kita,” Pia; Jake Zyrus’ rendition of the Cebuano song “Usahay;” and Troy’s “Intro: Harana.”
