PAL extends seat sale for 2021 travel

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has extended its ongoing seat sale until November 29, 2020 to give travelers the chance to avail of special rates.

The flag carrier initially offered the promo from November 16 to 22, 2020, with P388 one-way for domestic flights and USD99 roundtrip for international flights (economy base fares).

The travel period is from January 10 to September 30, 2021 for domestic flights and January 15 to September 30, 2021 for international flights.

This “Ready, Set, Book!” promotion for 2021 travel supports the government’s efforts to rebuild Philippine tourism as various provinces and countries gradually reopen their borders.

Under the promotion, passengers can travel to the flag carrier’s domestic and international destinations with increased flexibility.

Ticket holders are allowed unlimited rebooking seven days prior to departure date. Subject to fare differences, if applicable.

PAL flyers are assured of a worry-free travel experience under the airline’s multi-layered “New Normal, Same Heart” safety programs.

The safety protocols include the use of signature Personalized Protective Equipment (PPE) by cabin crew, a rigorous disinfection regimen for aircraft before and after every flight, a high-tech cabin system that refreshes cabin air and uses High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters to protect against viruses, bacteria and impurities with 99.99% efficacy, and modifications to inflight food services and amenities to minimize physical contact.

PAL reminds all passengers to use face masks and shields for their protection as well.

The flag carrier recently launched its own RT-PCR testing facility for departing passengers at the PAL Learning Center in Manila, with swab test results guaranteed within 24 hours.

Since August, PAL has also been operating a One-Stop-Shop facility at NAIA Terminal 2 to cater to arriving non-OFWs and foreign travelers, also with a 24-hour test result guarantee.

PAL has partnered with authorized private medical service providers for both the departure and arrival testing centers.

PAL now offers regular non-stop flights between the Philippines and the U.S., Japan, Canada, Singapore, Taipei, Hong Kong, the U.K. and Indonesia along with occasional flights to Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and other Asia/Pacific countries.

The flag carrier continues to operate all-cargo flights and special repatriation services during this time of pandemic.
