ICYMI: Here are Catriona Gray's best looks during her visit to Colombia

Just like the cultural warrior that she is, the former Miss Universe wore Philippine pride with utmost grace and style

"Australian by birth, represented Philippines," was Catriona Gray's introduction as a judge during the recent Miss Universe Colombia pageant. Filipino fans were quick to respond and defended the beauty queen by calling out the event host for the unfortunate incident. On a social media post, Gray set the record straight by announcing she's Filipina through and through.

And if anyone still needs a visual proof about it, then check out all the Filipino designs she wore throughout her time in Colombia.

Philippine flag-inspired outfit

For her arrival outfit to Colombia, Catriona donned an ensemble featuring the yakan, one of the country's traditional textile, in the colors of the Philippine flag.

Kalakat terno ensemble

Jaggy Glarino's Kalakat terno, which Catriona wore during her official welcome, has weaving technique inspired by the native bungalows in General Santos City.

Inaul fashion

For Smile Train Latinoamerica, Catriona wore local designer's Jearsond Demavivas handwoven inaul blue skirt. She then donned an inaul imbued terno cocktail dress with a long black train made by the same designer for the Colombian pageant's swimsuit preliminary competition.

Sagisag suit

Red is a favorite hue of the former Miss Universe. She wore her power color with the Sagisag suit by designer Frederick Berches.

Yellow Almodal couture

Filipino couturier Leo Almodal created not one but two sunny yellow gowns for Catriona. One is seen on the cover of Colombian magazine Actual, the other is the crystal-encrusted bodysuit dress with exaggerated bows she wore for the coronation night.
