Typhoon Ulysses has already left the country but its effects are devastating—Filipinos were forced to evacuate their homes and many got stranded on roofs of houses due to flood and power outage in multiple areas.

These celebrity families have done and are still doing their part in helping Typhoon Ulysses victims. A lot of them try to help as much as they can, and at the same time, continue to encourage others to make their own donations no matter how small.

Manzano Family

Andi Manzano and her sisters started Project Proverbs to help out less fortunate kids who don’t have a home. But with the destruction brought about by Typhoon Ulysses, they decided to open their doors for donations to help. Manzano didn’t expect the response they got as they were able to send P500,000 worth of relief goods, hygiene kits, vitamins, blankets, and other essential supplies to people affected in Marikina, Cagayan, Bicol, Isabela, and Rizal. Those who wish to donate may visit the Instagram page of Project Proverbs.

Belo Family

The charming five-year-old daughter of doctors Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho lent a hand in times of crisis. Scarlet, together with the Belo Medical Group team, packed relief goods for residents in Marikina, one of the hardest hit areas of Typhoon Ulysses. As she is well-known for her day-to-day life videos, the child is also encouraging her followers to donate and help.

Dantes Family

Through Yes Pinoy and Aktor PH, actor Dingdong Dantes and his family have been raising funds for those affected in Cagayan Valley. They’ve been accepting essential items like clothes, blankets, towels, masks, medicine, canned goods, and among others.

Teo Family

Skincare clinic Aivee Clinic sent cash and in-kind donations to the far-flung areas of Isabela. Beyond this effort, Dr. Z and Dr. Aivee Teo also helped out in cooking and distributing hot meals in Marikina. Together with Ferdi Salvador and the Aivee Clinic team, they sent out warmth to struggling families.
